I work on the backend platforms that keep services running — decomposing monoliths into services, building event-driven pipelines, and moving compute-heavy workloads onto Kubernetes.
I've spent 13 years working on cloud infrastructure, containerized microservices, and the backend systems that connect them. Most of my work sits where reliability and complexity meet.
Day to day that means decomposing legacy monoliths into services that map to the business, designing asynchronous, event-driven pipelines for compute-heavy and AI inference workloads, and running them on Kubernetes. I focus on clean code, observable systems, and release processes that are predictable.
I lead a small engineering team — standups, sprint planning, peer review — while staying hands-on with the code and the infrastructure.
